Christchurch Tyre Co. is a friendly family run business supplying car and van tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspensions and diagnostics testing for fault management.
Twenty-seven years ago qualified mechanic and Christchurch Tyre Co. employee Ross Taylor jumped on the owner's decision to sell and promptly bought the company. Competitive pricing and excellent service helped the business to grow and Christchurch Tyre Co. soon became a local landmark due to its location on the Railway Bridge in Bargates.
The Challenge
Christchurch Tyre Co. has key differentiators that help it compete against national brand competitors; no expense is spared with the firms investment in state-of-the art equipment (including a £30,000 Hunter DSP Wheel alignment centre), and their customer service is second to none.
Projecting this to an audience who widely regard the Tyre, Brake and Exhaust market as somewhat "industrial" proved an interesting challenge.
What We Did
Christchurch Tyre Co. had already re-branded as part of its recent expansion and mwa picked up on the "fresh" look, creating a complimentary design style for the Web site.
Sharp graphics and reworked images give the Web site a professional appearance, which reflects the values of the company and delivers an impression of quality and competence.
It was important to communicate the depth and breadth of the offerings so a section was given to each product and service group.
Technical and safety information is also provided in a Blog, giving the community opportunity to engage directly with expert members of staff. The Blog was integrated into the site to enable customers to switch seamlessly between Blog information and Web site product information.
We also integrated a feed from Christchurch Tyre Co.'s security camera so customers can view vehicles arriving and leaving, helping them to feel confident in dealing with a popular business.
